The name of the Bed & Breakfast goes back to the beginnings of Lelystad. In the 50s, at the former workisland, there were no streetnames yet. So people thought of names themselves and decided to use them.

The long throughroad was called De Lange Jammer, a name from the old past that still lives.

Hotel De Lange Jammer is situated on the former workisland of Lelystad near the Markermeer,on the spot of the former restaurant of the workisland. The 17 luxury rooms are equipped with television, free internet, a fridge, telephone and shower or bath.
